St. Joseph’s Glen POA Seeks Volunteers to Fill All Board Positions

By Tonya Prowse

The St. Joseph’s Glen Property Owners Association (POA) is currently seeking community members to step forward and fill all board positions. As our neighborhood continues to grow and move forward—especially following recent progress with our sewer system—strong leadership and community involvement are more important than ever.

Serving on the POA is a valuable opportunity to help guide decisions, maintain property values, and ensure the continued improvement of our subdivision. All residents are encouraged to consider participating, regardless of prior experience.

Open Positions Include:

President – Provides overall leadership to the POA, leads meetings, helps set priorities, and works with board members to ensure the community’s needs are addressed.
Vice President – Assists the President and steps in when needed, while helping coordinate projects and initiatives within the subdivision.
Secretary – Maintains meeting minutes, handles official records, and helps communicate important updates to residents.
Treasurer – Oversees financial matters including budgeting, tracking expenses, dues, and ensuring transparency in all financial activities.
Committee Members / Volunteers – Support specific areas such as neighborhood improvements, events, communications, or special projects as needed.

Participation in the POA is essential to keeping St. Joseph’s Glen a well-managed and thriving community. Without volunteers, the ability to maintain services, plan improvements, and represent homeowners’ interests becomes limited.

Residents interested in serving are encouraged to get involved and help shape the future of St. Joseph’s Glen please contact the POA at sjgpoa@gmail.com

St. Joseph’s Glen Secures Sewer System Victory After Years-Long Legal Battle

By Christopher Prowse

After more than seven years of legal proceedings, the St. Joseph’s Glen Property Owners Association has achieved a major victory in securing ownership and control of the subdivision’s sewer infrastructure.

The resolution comes through a finalized Consent Judgment issued in February 2026, formally settling the long-standing dispute over the sewer system that services the neighborhood . The case clarified ownership rights of sewer lines, manholes, and related infrastructure throughout the subdivision—an issue that had created uncertainty for years.

As part of the ruling, ownership and authority over various portions of the sewer system have been clearly defined among the involved parties, including the POA and local improvement districts. This outcome provides long-awaited clarity and stability for residents.

Most importantly, this victory allows the subdivision to move forward with plans to connect to the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (LRWRA). This transition is expected to improve long-term reliability, maintenance, and overall service for homeowners.

“This has been a long and challenging process, but we are proud to finally have a resolution that benefits our community,” POA leadership shared. “We can now focus on the future and ensuring the best possible infrastructure for our neighborhood.”

This milestone marks a new chapter for St. Joseph’s Glen, bringing closure to years of uncertainty and opening the door to improved utilities and continued community growth.
